Bemnet Yemesgen is an Ethiopian-American producer, writer, and director with a background in design and creative development. He founded Jegna Creative, a creative agency based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Los Angeles, and Washington D.C.. Besides his personal work, Bemnet has previously worked for brands like Adidas, the Nike Foundation, and USA Today. He currently serves as Creative Director at Discord.

Frehiwot Berhane (Fray) is an Ethiopian Director and Producer. Her story began as a young girl very curious of how an electronic device can record a moving object. With the guidance of her father, she realized she has an eye for talent and beauty. Fast forward to her working in ad agency, an opportunity presents itself for her to join the creative world of Film and Television. Since then she has placed her mark in both local and international films and commercials. Currently she is the CEO of Qene Films and a photographer. She is working towards lifting the film and ad industry in Ethiopia.

Yabsra Megersa is a visual effects and 3D motion graphics artist based in Ethiopia. He has had several opportunities working as a Production Manager, and with each experience he is learning more and more. Yabsra will keep adding more skills from his experiences.

Daniel Belay is an D.o.P. and Cinematographer based in Ethiopia. He has been in the Film industry for the past 10 years. He started out as a Gaffer & AC and worked non-stop in the industry of film and television to now become Director of Photography and Cinematographer. He also have experience working on Documentary, TV Ads, Music Videos and TV Shows as a Director of Photography. 6 Local Feature Films as a cinematographer and having major roles in 15 international projects later, he still believes it is a huge privilege to do the work he loves.

Beferdu Teffera is a sound recording professional born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He has experience producing and directing TV commercials and music videos, and he is also a musician himself. Beferdu additionally enjoys skateboarding and painting.

Temima Hulala has been in the makeup industry for the past 10 years. Even though her passion lies in special effects, she also does beauty makeup. Temima is self-taught and has developed her skills through the years by her own efforts and creativity. Temima mixes most of the special effects makeup from natural Ethiopian remedies that she has learned from day to day use. Temima has been part of more than 60 local feature films and she has participated in 4 international projects.

His journey started at the age of six when he began the pursuit of capturing moments that flee away. His passion is photography and Cinematographer. In the prime of his adolescence, he began dabble in videography and anything related to the Film and Television. In the past decade, he has worked as a D.o.P., Cinematographer, Photographer, Creative Director, Senior Editor, Colorist, and many more. Behind the lens, there isn't a profession in this industry that he has not tried to make his own. His name is Tedos Teffera, he is a soulful explorer by life and a D.o.P. by profession.

Yodahe Zerihun is a Master of Holistic Child Development student in Ethiopia. In his free time, Yodahe participates in voluntary service for children who are living in juvenile delinquency and orphanage centers. Yodahe worked for THE OTHER SIDE film crew as a host. Yodahe is happy to see the team’s efforts come to an end. Yodahe thank everyone for working for the benefit of our Ethiopian children.

Abdirebi Daniel grew up in Addis Ababa at the Akaki L'ecperance Adventist Orphan children center. He had spent his whole elementary and high school there, and has since become an active member and leader in Christian fellowship and Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia. Abdirebi graduated from Addis Ababa University College of Business and Economics with a degree in Public Administration and Development Management. He currently works in admin assistance and has future plans to work in community development projects.
